What did I achieve?

20^thOctober: This week I have finished off my storyboard and made an animatic of my music video.

Influenced by....

As I was influenced by mainly Rihanna's music videos, in 'you da one' smoke comes out of her mouth and by using effects they've created words coming out of her mouth when the smoke rises. I thought this looked really effective and I wanted a challenge to try and re-create my own. I plan to film smoke coming out my actors mouth and then by using software to edit the text, so it looks like Rihanna's video. Ideas of words such as: 'Diamonds' 'Sky' 'Never die' 'Warmth' 'Ecstasy' 'Alive' These are all words which I have chosen out of the lyrics as I think they are powerful and stand out the most.

My Audience

My audience is more a female based audience and also as I'm doing a Rihanna video, many girls look up to her as a role model. The majority of people who voted on my pole lived in East riding of Yorkshire, which is where I live and come from. My audience mainly studies media and journalism and also music, drama and the arts. The most popular genre of music they are interested in is Indie music, followed by, R+B, pop and club music. My audience prefers a narrative form for their music videos with also a bit of performance. And the most popular way of consuming their videos is by YouTube and the television.
